  • Specific Designs Include:
    • Fifty-five (55) bridges along various county roads in Jefferson County, Alabama
    • A 12-span bridge across the Black Warrior River
    • Fifteen (15) bridges and overpasses on I-565 In Huntsville
    • Seventeen (17) bridge rehabilitation projects along I-65 In Birmingham
    • Project Manager for the design and construction supervision of The Bunker, Jim Walter Corporation No. 7 Brookwood Mine. This project was most unique and consisted of installing a high strength cast in place concrete liner 2,300 feet underground. The liner was cased in a 187' deep x 50' diameter shaft. The project manager was inside the liner when poured. The project required mixing underground both admixtures, fiber reinforcement including formwork procurement.

  • Roadway Design:
    • Six - lane freeway with frontage roads and route interchanges
    • Four - lane urban and rural highways
    • Numerous secondary county roads and city streets
    • Four - lane urban and rural highways. The US 280 Corridor Study conducted for the Alabama Highway Department now Alabama DOT, consisted of nine(9) miles of limited access facility with continuous service roads. Estimated cost $310,000,000.
